THE CHANGE

Bell bottoms and shiny glasses, colours ruled the world,
When oily hair was in and hairstyles were curled.
Polka dots ruled and frocks were in,
And relations before marriage was a sin.

Oh the face of Elvis and Monroe topped the charts,
They were the rulers of everyone's heart.
From the world of fake modesty and etiquettes strange
They were the new faces of change.

Boot-cuts came in and pastels were gone,
All shampooed head and no more wigs were worn,
Polka and frocks gave way to Checks and Skirts,
And the new era was a heaven for flirts.

The face of Pitts and Jolies now topped the charts,
They were the rulers of everyone's heart.
From the world of Marijuana and Hippies craze,
They were the new faces of the new ways!
